Job summary

Hauler Hero Inc. is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer (Contractor) to join our web app team. This role is fully remote with a focus on delivering high-quality user interfaces used by haulers and operators in the field.

You will work closely with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering to ship features quickly while maintaining quality, performance, and usability. 80%+ coding time, async-friendly communication, and ownership mindset are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building production React applications.
• Strong TypeScript experience or readiness to adopt it.
• Deep experience with Material UI v5 or later.
• Expert-level experience with Redux Toolkit and RTK Query.
• Advanced CSS3 skills including Flexbox and Grid.
• Experience building complex forms with React Hook Form.
• Hands-on ownership of frontend testing with Jest, RTL, Cypress or Playwright.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship pixel-accurate, responsive interfaces from Figma using React and TS.
• Own features end-to-end from design handoff to deployment and iteration.
• Implement complex forms with React Hook Form and ensure mobile-first UX.
• Improve performance, testing, and accessibility across the frontend.
