Rate is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (TypeScript / React) to join our Product Engineering team. The role emphasizes building production-grade consumer applications with a strong front-end focus while maintaining a full-stack mindset. You will collaborate with designers and engineers to deliver accessible, high-quality interfaces.

This is a full-time, remote role based in the United States. You’ll contribute to modern React apps, implement design systems, and help advance our Rate platform

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of frontend development experience.
• Senior-level: proven production web app experience.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and React with Tailwind.
• Experience with UI libraries and accessible design.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on coding to ship high-quality production software.
• Build and maintain shared UI libraries with accessibility.
• Develop modern React apps in TypeScript.
• Collaborate with designers to implement design systems.
• Contribute to API design and backend integration.
