Job summary

Cerby is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer (Frontend) for the Extensions Team. You will own the quality, performance, and security of the extension end-to-end, helping drive a security-first culture and exploring AI-assisted tooling to boost efficiency across a remote-first engineering team.

You will design scalable UI, collaborate with product and design, and mentor peers while championing best practices, accessibility, and robust REST data flows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, focusing on SaaS frontends.
• Experience mentoring junior developers and conducting security-first code reviews.
• Prior work on distributed applications and security-conscious development.

Responsibilities

• Design and Develop: build scalable frontend features for extensions with AI-assisted tooling.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality UI.
• Code Excellence: write clean, maintainable code and promote best practices across the org.
• Continuous Improvement: participate in reviews and share knowledge to raise quality.
• Security Mindset: identify vulnerabilities and ensure robust, secure extension surfaces.
