Job summary

Omni is seeking a Frontend Engineer to set the technical direction for data visualization. You’ll shape how customers see their data, working with a data-viz–experienced Product Manager and engineers to design and build visualization components and data pipelines.

You’ll lead with 5+ years in software development, deep data visualization expertise, and strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills. Remote-friendly role with SF-based HQ and hubs in Boulder/Denver, Philadelphia, Seattle.

Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering experience.
Deep data visualization experience with a strong portfolio.
Proficient in TypeScript or JavaScript.
Experience with BI tools like Looker, Tableau, or Mode.
Ability to set technical vision and influence a team.

Responsibilities

Set technical direction for Omni's data visualization capabilities.
Partner with Product Manager and engineering to translate viz strategy into features.
Improve visualization quality and performance.
Design and build front-end visualization components and the underlying data pipelines.
Mentor engineers and guide the visualization work stream.
Move quickly and ship iteratively, refining based on feedback.
Leverage AI coding tools to maximize velocity.
