Omni, the AI analytics platform, is seeking a Frontend Engineer to lead data visualization direction across products. You will shape visualization components and data pipelines, collaborating with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality visuals.

You will leverage your 5+ years of software experience and strong TS/JS skills to influence the team and implement best practices. Remote-friendly with hubs in SF and other cities.

Qualificações

• Deep, demonstrable experience in data visualization with a strong portfolio of shipped work.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Experience with data or business intelligence tools (SQL, Looker, Tableau, Mode, GA).
• Demonstrated ability to set technical vision and influence a team without formal authority.
• Proficiency with AI coding tools and workflows (Claude Code, Cursor).

The Role

We're looking for a Frontend Engineer to set the technical direction for data visualization at Omni. You'll draw on your data viz experience to shape how customers see and interact with their data, working closely with our Product Manager, who also comes from a data viz background, and the engineers currently building in this area. You'll also design and build the visualization components and data pipelines behind that work.

About You

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years operating at a senior level
• Deep, demonstrable experience in data visualization, ideally with industry recognition or a strong portfolio of shipped visualization work
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript
• Experience with data or business intelligence tools or applications (e.g., SQL, Looker, Tableau, Mode, Amplitude, Google Analytics)
• Demonstrated ability to set technical vision and influence a team without requiring formal authority
• Proficiency with AI coding tools and workflows (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor)

Nice to Haves

• Startup experience
• Experience building data products
• Familiarity with data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
• Background in data viz research or academic work

Location

This role is based in San Francisco, or remote for candidates based near one of Omni's engineering hubs (Philadelphia, Boulder/Denver, Santa Cruz, or Seattle); final-round interviews are conducted in person.

Compensation Range: $160K - $250K
