Job summary

Omni, the AI analytics platform, seeks a Frontend Engineer to set the technical direction for data visualization. You will shape how customers see and interact with data, collaborating with a data-viz experienced Product Manager and engineers shaping the visualization stack.

You will design and build visualization components and pipelines, mentor the team, ship features rapidly, and leverage AI coding tools to maximize velocity in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including senior-level responsibilities.
• Deep demonstrable experience in data visualization and shipped visualization work.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Experience with data or BI tools (SQL, Looker, Tableau, Mode, Amplitude, GA).

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction and North Star for Omni's data visualization capabilities.
• Partner with Product Manager and engineering to translate viz strategy into features.
• Mentor engineers and guide the visualization work stream.
• Design and build front-end visualization components and underlying data pipelines.
• Move quickly, ship iteratively, and incorporate customer feedback.
• Leverage AI coding tools to maximize velocity on high-leverage tasks.
