Job summary

Apple is seeking a frontend-focused Software Engineer to join the Cloud UI team in Austin, TX. You will design, develop, and maintain the cloud portal, collaborating with HI designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable code.

You will own projects as a Directly Responsible Individual (DRI), write tests, participate in reviews, and help build internal frontend tooling while exploring GenAI to enhance workflows and products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript.
• Experience building complex web applications with a focus on user experience.
• Experience implementing APIs in user interfaces.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Experience with Node and full-stack development.
• Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Description

As a Software Engineer on the Apple Cloud UI team, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and maintenance of our cloud portal. You will work closely with HI designers, product managers, and other engineering teams to drive projects forward as a Directly Responsible Individual (DRI). You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code. We're looking for a self-motivated individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building exceptional user experiences.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
