Job summary

Pebl is hiring a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to lead the UI/UX for our AI-powered conversational assistant. You’ll own frontend design in React/TypeScript, while collaborating with backend services and agentic workflows to deliver smooth, streaming interactions.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in full-stack roles, 1+ year building LLM-powered products, and a passion for high-quality UX. This in-person role requires weekly collaboration in our Palo Alto, CA office.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, full-stack, with emphasis on frontend/UX.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience building LLM-powered or agentic products.
• Experience building interfaces for AI-powered products with conversational UIs and copilots.
• Strong command of modern frontend (React/TypeScript) and integration with backend services.

Responsibilities

• Design and build full-stack features for our conversational AI assistant with depth on frontend/UX.
• Apply hands-on experience with prompt design, tool calling, and multi-step agent reasoning to shape UI behavior.
• Push for a standout AI-driven UX beyond generic implementations.
• Prototype and propose new interaction patterns as models evolve.
• Maintain both frontend and backend components and ensure clean API contracts.
