Verkada Inc. in San Mateo, CA is seeking a senior frontend engineer to join the Web Platform team. You will architect, design, and develop across a broad range of high-impact projects, partnering with 8+ product teams to build a robust web-based platform for enterprise devices.

You will lead microfrontend re-architecture, drive AI enablement across web engineering, and own developer tooling and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality and scalability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of frontend or platform web development.
• Proficiency with React, TypeScript, Webpack, and Vite.
• Experience designing or implementing microfrontend architectures.
• Experience configuring, optimizing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Accelerate architectural evolution by scaling the microfrontend transition across a large codebase.
• Empower 8+ product teams with platform tools to build fast and deliver great UX.
• Drive AI enablement to accelerate development and enhance web engineering capabilities.
• Innovate the stack by evaluating and applying next-generation web technologies.
• Own developer infrastructure by managing CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and velocity.
• Champion testing and quality with automated testing strategies across the platform.
• Strengthen platform foundations with shared utilities and architectural patterns in collaboration with Design System team.
