Job summary

Sift is seeking a product-engineering focused role where you own a product area, talk to customers, decide what to build, and ship it from MVP through iteration. You will craft frontend surfaces for Sift Agents and design agentic UX that renders findings alongside telemetry to engineers.

You’ll push browser performance with Web Workers and caching, collaborate across backend and frontend teams, and work from our Marina Del Rey, CA HQ with in-person collaboration twice weekly.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in software engineering.
• Own a product area by talking to customers and shipping.
• Experience building high-performance web apps with React/NextJS/TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Talk directly to customers to understand workflows.
• Build frontend surfaces where Sift Agents live.
• Design agentic UX interactions and patterns.
• Render agent findings alongside telemetry.
• Push browser performance with Web Workers and advanced caching.
• Contribute to the component library for consistency.
• Collaborate with backend on API design.
