Job summary

Reddit, Inc. is seeking an accomplished frontend engineer to own complex features across Ads Manager's creative and recommendations workflows. You will translate AI-backed capabilities into intuitive interfaces for advertisers, collaborating with product and design to navigate ambiguous requirements and tradeoffs.

You will develop reusable patterns, instrument experiences, and guide iteration with data, while elevating code quality through thoughtful architecture, testing, and accessibility.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex frontend projects from design through launch.
• Strong frontend architecture, state management, and API integration.
• Polished UI with emphasis on usability, performance, and accessibility.
• Ability to solve ambiguous product and technical problems.
• Excellent cross-disciplinary collaboration across engineering, product, design and data.
• Experience using instrumentation or metrics to understand and improve UX.
• Mentorship and constructive code review experience.
• Experience building advertising, campaign management, or related apps.
• Experience designing interfaces for generative AI, ML, or recommendation systems.
• Experience with asset management, media upload, or content workflows.
• Contributing to shared component libraries and design systems.
• Improving large frontend codebases via architecture, performance, testing, or accessibility work.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical design and delivery of complex frontend features across Ads Manager's creative and recommendation workflows.
• Translate AI-backed capabilities into advertiser-facing interfaces.
• Work with product and design through ambiguous requirements to make tradeoffs.
• Develop reusable frontend patterns and components for unified campaign creation.
• Instrument experiences, evaluate results, and guide iteration with data.
• Raise code quality through architecture, testing, observability, and accessibility.
• Provide high-quality code reviews and technical guidance to peers.
• Collaborate across frontend, backend, data, and ML systems for end-to-end solutions.
