Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a senior Front End (UI) Software Engineer to architect and implement scalable, secure frontend platforms with fullstack capabilities.

You will set standards for enterprise web apps, drive UI component libraries and design system adherence, and mentor teams throughout the delivery lifecycle. The role focuses on modern frontend frameworks (React, TypeScript, Next.js/Angular) and API integrations, while collaborating with product owners, UX designers, and backend engineers

Qualifications

Extensive experience in frontend engineering and fullstack delivery within enterprise apps.
Strong knowledge of UI engineering, component libraries, and design systems.
Experience with API integration and backend services in modern web apps.

Responsibilities

Lead frontend architecture and implement scalable, secure UI platforms.
Drive design system adherence and component libraries across teams.
Architect and implement REST/GraphQL integrations and BFF layers.
Mentor teams and ensure CI/CD and testing automation best practices.
Collaborate with product, UX, and backend teams to deliver end-to-end features.
