Job summary

Citi seeks a Lead Front End Engineer in Tampa, FL to lead high-impact front-end work at the intersection of engineering and enterprise architecture. You will guide standards, drive secure and scalable UI experiences, and partner with product, infra, and architecture teams to align technology with business goals.

You’ll influence front-end design, mentor developers, and ensure delivery of resilient applications in a regulated, global financial services environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in application development or systems analysis.
• Experience in end-to-end programming of complex software applications.
• Proven experience delivering projects in enterprise-scale environments.
• Proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.
• Strong HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design, WCAG compliant.
• Experience with front-end build tools, version control, and testing frameworks.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure) and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Partner with multiple management teams to integrate functions and deploy new products.
• Resolve high-impact problems through evaluation of business and system processes.
• Provide expertise in applications programming and architectural adherence.
• Develop standards for coding, testing, and implementation.
• Ensure alignment of technology investments with enterprise architecture.
