Job summary

Citi is seeking a Senior Front End Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of complex web applications within our AI Automation Forward Deployed Engineering team. You will set technical direction, mentor engineers, and collaborate with AI and backend squads to deliver scalable interfaces.

The role emphasizes Angular mastery, performance, and secure, compliant interfaces in a hybrid work environment with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Mastery of Angular (6+) and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of RxJS, NgRx, HTML5 and CSS3/SASS.
• Experience with Webpack and Angular CLI build tools.
• Strong UI/UX understanding and web performance optimization.
• Experience with micro-frontend architecture and API integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of responsive, accessible web apps using Angular and modern UI tech.
• Collaborate with AI and backend teams to build intuitive interfaces for AI-enabled operations.
• Set technical direction, establish standards, and enforce robust testing frameworks.
• Work with DevOps to deploy UI apps in containerized and cloud-native environments.
• Design interfaces that simplify complex financial data and workflows while ensuring security.
