Job summary

Evolent Health LLC seeks a Senior Software Engineer to lead front-end development for the Evolent Platform, building high-performance React and Next.js features. You will work with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to translate business needs into scalable solutions.

You will mentor juniors, contribute to front-end architecture, and leverage approved AI-assisted tools while maintaining accountability for all output.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong front-end experience with React and TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex front-end features in React and Next.js, ensuring scalability and accessibility.
• Build Server and Client Components following rendering and caching standards; implement BFF endpoints and integrate with .NET and Python services.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive architectural discussions and long-term planning.
• Ensure security, privacy, and compliance with enterprise policies, including HIPAA considerations.
