The Orlando Health Digestive Health Institute in Tampa is seeking a Front Office Assistant Sr. to support ambulatory/physician office operations, including patient registration, scheduling, and referrals under supervision.

Requires a High School diploma, ~30 wpm typing, ICD & CPT knowledge, and 2 years in a medical office. Offers tuition reimbursement, PSLF, retirement match, PTO, parental leave, and other wellness programs.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Typing speed of approximately 30 wpm or ability to demonstrate competent use of practice management computer system.
• Knowledge of ICD & CPT.
• Two (2) years’ experience in a medical office environment.

Responsabilidades

• Adheres to Orlando Health and department policies, procedures and standards.
• Handle multiple tasks, answer phones, take messages, file lab reports and other records.
• Perform word processing and spreadsheet data entry.
• Perform charge entry and cash handling.
• Act as liaison between physician, patient and insurance for referrals and authorizations.
• Maintain regular, punctual attendance per policy and relevant laws.
• Comply with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
• Participate in Quality Assurance and indicator activities as assigned.
• Maintain a safe, organized office and assist billing as needed.
