Job summary

Hopper is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join the Web Engineering team in Overland Park, KS. This onsite role focuses on building modern, scalable web applications with Svelte, SvelteKit, and a headless CMS stack.

You will design, develop, and deploy responsive experiences using Sanity CMS, REST/GraphQL APIs, and cloud-native practices, collaborating with product, UX, architecture, and DevOps to deliver enterprise-grade digital experiences.

Qualifications

7+ years of software development experience.
Strong hands-on with Svelte/SvelteKit and TypeScript.
Experience building with Sanity CMS and headless architectures.

Responsibilities

Design and develop responsive, scalable web apps with Svelte/SvelteKit.
Build content-driven experiences using Sanity CMS and headless architecture.
Collaborate with Product, UX, Architecture, Platform, and DevOps.
Develop reusable UI components and design system integrations.
Integrate with internal/external APIs, microservices, auth platforms, and data services.
Maintain code quality with reviews, tests, CI/CD, and best practices.
Optimize for performance, accessibility, SEO, security, and scalability.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to engineering standards.
Mentor junior developers and support production deployments.
Drive reliable delivery through automated pipelines.
