Job summary

North Cloud is seeking talented frontend engineers to join a hands-on, end-to-end role building core features across the frontend stack. You’ll work on API ingestion, data visualization, and UX-focused workflows in a fast-paced SaaS environment with a CTO partner.

The role emphasizes architecture, testing, accessibility, and performance, with collaboration across product and backend teams. Hybrid office in New York City, with a Brooklyn HQ and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional frontend engineering experience.
• Proficiency with Svelte, SvelteKit, or equivalent modern frameworks.
• Advanced proficiency with TailwindCSS for scalable UIs.
• Strong understanding of interaction patterns, layout, accessibility, and responsive UI.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain user-facing features using SvelteKit, Svelte 5, TS, and TailwindCSS.
• Implement scalable, maintainable component structures and frontend architecture.
• Build responsive, accessible, and performant interfaces.
• Collaborate with product and backend engineering to refine specs, workflows, and API contracts.
• Implement robust error handling, boundary states, and loading strategies.
• Ensure code quality through reviews, documentation, linting, and testing.
• Contribute to frontend performance optimization and observability.
