American Unit, Inc. seeks a senior frontend engineer to design, develop, and deploy high-performing web apps using Svelte/SvelteKit.

You will build content-driven experiences with Sanity CMS, implement headless architectures, and craft reusable UI components within a scalable design system. You will integrate REST/GraphQL services, collaborate across Product, UX, Platform, and DevOps, and champion accessibility and performance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Svelte and SvelteKit.
• Proficiency in TypeScript.
• HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS.
• Sanity CMS familiarity.
• Headless CMS architecture experience.
• Component-based UI development.
• REST APIs and GraphQL.
• Git and modern source control practices.
• Client-side performance optimization.
• Cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• WCAG accessibility knowledge.
• Automated testing with Playwright, Cypress, Jest, or Vitest.
• Experience in Telecommunications or eCommerce domains.
• Migration to headless architectures.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and deploy responsive, scalable, and high-performing web applications using Svelte and SvelteKit.
• Build content-driven digital experiences using Sanity CMS and headless architecture.
• Develop reusable UI components, front-end frameworks, and design system integrations.
• Integrate web applications with REST APIs, GraphQL, microservices, authentication platforms, and customer data services.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, Architecture, Platform, and DevOps teams.
• Champion code quality through peer reviews, automated testing, and engineering best practices.
• Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, SEO, security, responsiveness, and scalability.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, design reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support production deployments, troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical standards and engineering decisions.
• Partner with platform and DevOps teams to ensure reliable application delivery.
