Ad Hoc is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Front End (Library of Congress) to lead frontend work on federal civilian projects. You will implement robust UI features, drive accessibility standards, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable government software.

The role emphasizes strong testing, code quality, and stakeholder communication, with a national remote setup and opportunities in SAFe agile ceremonies.

Formación

• Experience building front-end UI with modern frameworks.
• Proficient in automated UI testing with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Strong collaboration with UX, product, and backend teams.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and OpenAPI specifications.
• Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.

Responsabilidades

• Write and maintain Selenium and Cypress end‑to‑end tests for UI workflows.
• Ensure frontend implementations meet WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
• Debug, optimize, and monitor work across test and production environments.
• Participate in mandatory peer code review and four‑eyes principle.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, QA, and UX designers to deliver features.
