Job summary

Rivet is hiring a frontend-focused engineer to own the client-facing surface end-to-end. You’ll design, ship, and maintain the document handover portal used by clients and tax preparers, while closely aligning with design and backend teams.

You’ll also enhance the workspace used by accountants, ensuring speed and clarity in daily workflows. Ideal candidates bring 6+ years building production web apps with React, can own a product surface end-to-end, and communicate clearly with cross-functional

6+ years building production web applications, primarily in React.
Own a product surface end to end, including post-launch
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

Drive the client-facing surface end to end: design, build, ship and maintain the portal for document handovers and tax returns.
Build the workspace our preparers use daily to speed up workflows.
Collaborate with design and the rest of the engineering team to influence end-to-end product architecture.
Ship AI features into the UI with clear model traceability and human oversight.
Engage with accountants and clients to observe how your work is used and iterate accordingly.
