Scholarships.com is seeking an experienced frontend engineer to join our Highland Park headquarters in‑office. This full-time role focuses on designing and developing modern, high‑performance web pages using leading front-end technologies, with a mobile-first strategy.

You will lead the next version of Scholarships.com, ensure a fully responsive experience across devices, optimize performance, and collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deliver secure, high‑quality code and

Qualifications

Formal training or certification in front-end development.
5+ years of experience in frontend development.
Strong understanding of UI/UX and SEO best practices.
Awareness of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Experience with design/prototyping tools like Figma, Adobe XD, InVision or Sketch.

Responsibilities

Design and develop modern, high-performance web pages using leading front-end technologies.
Lead the next version of Scholarships.com using a mobile-first strategy.
Ensure the platform is fully responsive and delivers an optimal user experience across devices.
Optimize site performance via image optimization, caching, code minimization, and CDN usage.
Write secure, high-quality code and review/debug code with the team.
Identify opportunities to enhance user experience and platform performance.
Stay up to date with emerging front-end technologies and best practices.
