DAT is seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to shape the architecture, quality, and long-term direction of our customer-facing products. You will drive the technical strategy for the end-to-end user experience, ensuring it scales with growth and complex business requirements.

Design, build, and maintain highly performant, accessible web applications using our core frontend stack. You will own key UI components and design system elements, mentor engineers, and collaborate with UX designers

Qualifications

• 7+ years of frontend software development experience.
• Experience designing and evolving component libraries or design systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong command of RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with AI and Spec Driven Development.
• Mastery of modern JavaScript/TypeScript and tooling.
• Proven ability to lead technical discussions and drive consensus.

• Shape architecture, quality, and long-term direction of customer-facing products.
• Drive technical strategy for end-to-end user experience at scale.
• Design, build, and maintain high-performance, accessible web apps.
• Own key UI components and design system elements.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and pairing.
• Collaborate with UX designers and engineering leaders to translate requirements.
• Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Define frontend observability and alerting using Datadog.
• Lead frontend incident response and root-cause analyses.
