Job summary

Strategic Sight Consulting LLC seeks a Front-End Software Developer to build interfaces for modeling, simulation, HITL, and advanced engineering environments supporting national security missions. You will create responsive UI to configure systems, visualize data, and interact with hardware-in-the-loop simulations.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
• An additional 4 years of experience in software design and development.
• Experience with front-end production-quality apps using modern JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement user interfaces for engineering, simulation, and test applications.
• Work closely with modeling and simulation engineers, embedded developers, hardware engineers, and systems engineers to translate complex technical workflows into effective software solutions.
• Develop production-quality front-end applications using modern JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, or similar technologies.
• Develop and maintain data-intensive interfaces, dashboards, visualization tools, and engineering applications.
• Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs, WebSockets, message-based interfaces, and other backend services.
• Develop software interfaces that interact with real-time data, simulation environments, and hardware-in-the-loop systems.
• Translate complex system and user requirements into intuitive and effective user interfaces.
• Support software development activities including version control, automated testing, code review, and continuous integration/continuous deployment processes.
