Job summary

Cynet Systems Inc. in Seattle is seeking a Senior Front End Engineer to lead front-end development for large public-facing websites. You will drive strategic technical decisions, mentor teams, and shape architecture using React, GraphQL, Next.js, and AWS.

You will own the development of front-end apps, collaborate with product and design, ensure high quality and timely delivery, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and modern tooling.

Qualifications

• Strong senior front-end engineering experience with leadership in strategic decisions.
• Extensive experience building front-end apps with ReactJS, GraphQL, Next.js, and AWS.
• Expert in TypeScript and JavaScript and DOM manipulation.
• Deep understanding of React.js, Next.js, and core principles.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON Web Tokens.
• Experience with modern front-end build pipelines and CI/CD tools.
• Proficient with CI/CD systems: GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, and VSTS.
• Experience with Agile/SCRUM product development.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Isomorphic React knowledge is a plus.

Job description

Salary: $93,600 - 104,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong experience in the retail domain, including work on websites with large public audiences
• Experience in a senior engineering leadership role, making long-term strategic decisions within teams
• Extensive experience developing front-end applications with ReactJS, GraphQL, Next.js, and AWS
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js, Next.js, and their core principles
• Experience with data structure libraries such as Immutable.js
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern authorization mechanisms such as JSON Web Token
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, and VSTS
• Experience with Agile/SCRUM product development
• Ability and motivation to deliver high-quality projects on time
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
