Job summary

Cynet Systems Inc. is recruiting for a Senior Front End Engineer in the Washington DC area. The role focuses on building front-end applications with ReactJS, GraphQL, Next.js, and AWS, while shaping long-term technical strategy. You will lead the team in delivering high-quality work for large public audiences.

The ideal candidate has senior leadership experience, deep TS/JS skills, isomorphic React familiarity, and a solid grasp of modern build pipelines, REST APIs, and CI/CD tooling.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in the retail domain and large public audiences
• Experience in a senior engineering leadership role
• Front-end development with ReactJS, GraphQL, Next.js, and AWS
• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript, including DOM manipulation
• Thorough understanding of React.js and Next.js core principles
• Experience with data structure libraries such as Immutable.js
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JWT authorization
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, and VSTS
• Experience with Agile/SCRUM product development
• Ability to deliver high-quality projects on time
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus

Salary: $93,600 - 104,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong experience in the retail domain, including work on websites with large public audiences
• Experience in a senior engineering leadership role, making long-term strategic decisions within teams
• Extensive experience developing front-end applications with ReactJS, GraphQL, Next.js, and AWS
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js, Next.js, and their core principles
• Experience with data structure libraries such as Immutable.js
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern authorization mechanisms such as JSON Web Token
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
