Job summary

Quento Technologies S.A. seeks a Senior Front-End Engineer to design, build, and evolve secure, high-quality web apps using Next.js 15, React, and TypeScript. You will work with product, design, back-end, and platform teams to deliver scalable, accessible interfaces.

You will apply server-state management, MSAL authentication, and robust form validation with React Hook Form and Zod, while ensuring performance and cross-browser compatibility. English communication is essential.

Responsibilities

Quento Technologies S.A. seeks a highly motivated and experienced Senior Front-End Engineer to design, build, and evolve secure, high-quality web applications using modern React and Next.js technologies. You will play a key role in delivering scalable, accessible, and maintainable digital experiences, while collaborating closely with product, design, back-end, and platform engineering teams.

This role is ideal for an engineer with strong hands-on experience in TypeScript, a solid understanding of server-state management and authentication, engineering quality, and excellent user experience.

Your responsibilities will entail:

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, scalable, and production-ready web applications using Next.js 15, React, and TypeScript;
• Build reusable UI components and front-end modules that support consistency, maintainability, and efficient delivery;
• Manage server state, caching, synchronization, and asynchronous data flows (i.e. TanStack Query);
• Implement secure authentication and authorization flows using Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL);
• Create robust, accessible forms and schema-based validation (i.e. React Hook Form with Zod);
• Translate UI/UX designs and business requirements into high-quality, responsive interfaces (i.e. Tailwind);
• Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs and generated API clients, ensuring reliable error handling and clear loading states;
• Optimize application performance, rendering behavior, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility;
• Write clean, maintainable, testable, and well-documented code in line with agreed engineering standards;
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end architecture, technical decisions, and continuous improvement;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, UI/UX designers, back-end engineers, QA, and DevOps specialists;
• Support automated build, quality, and deployment processes within Azure DevOps'
• Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in front-end software development;
• Experience with Next.js 15 and modern React development patterns, including BFF (Backend-for-Frontend) architecture and SPA (Single Page Application) development;
• Hands-on experience with server-state management and API-driven applications;
• Practical experience implementing authentication and authorization with MSAL;
• Strong understanding of component design, hooks, routing, rendering strategies, and state management;
• Experience integrating and consuming REST APIs;
• Solid knowledge of responsive design, accessibility, performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility;
• Strong experience with Git workflows, pull requests, and peer code reviews;
• Experience working in an Agile delivery environment;
• Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and written and verbal communication skills in English.
