Front-End Engineer (React) – Onsite | Chicago, IL

We’re a rapidly expanding tech company based in downtown Chicago, building scalable, consumer-facing digital platforms with an emphasis on performance, usability, and innovation. We’re looking for a Front-End Engineer with strong React experience who thrives in a collaborative, high-energy environment.

This is a full-time, onsite position—five days a week—with a team that believes face-to-face collaboration drives better ideas, faster execution, and tighter product feedback loops.

What You’ll Be Working On:

• Craft intuitive, responsive front-end interfaces using React, driving a smooth and engaging user experience.
• Partner closely with design, product, and backend teams to build well-integrated, user-centric features.
• Write modular, well-structured, and thoroughly tested code that’s easy to maintain and extend.
• Provide mentorship and technical direction to junior engineers as we grow our front-end team.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and help shape how front-end development is done here.
• Stay on top of evolving front-end ecosystems, experimenting with new tools, frameworks, and design patterns.
• Play an active role in sprint planning, code reviews, and daily stand-ups.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Experience working with TypeScript, Next.js, and front-end build systems like Webpack or Vite.
• Deep understanding of state management tools (e.g., Redux, MobX) and how to structure scalable client-side apps.
• Practical knowledge of consuming RESTful APIs and handling async data flows.
• Solid grasp of performance tuning and front-end optimization techniques.
