We are seeking a Senior Front End Developer to join our agile teams on complex DoD projects, particularly developing command and control (C2) software. Hypergiant is building an innovative cloud-based C2 system that integrates capabilities and automates processes to improve mission planning and execution. The ideal candidate will write high-quality code, collaborate with partner capability providers, and ensure product excellence. This role involves working closely with our development team and other capability providers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Build and maintain web applications and shared libraries.
2. Write high-quality, well-tested code.
3. Collaborate with developers, designers, testers, project managers, and sponsors.
4. Regularly communicate task estimates and progress to leads and product owners.

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of professional front-end development experience.
• Strong proficiency (5 years) in React, with experience architecting complex applications.
• Solid understanding of application architecture and advanced JavaScript concepts.
• Ability to develop organized, accessible, and performant applications using JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
• Familiarity with WebGL libraries like Three.js, Deck.gl, and Mapbox GL JS.
• Attention to UI detail and design.
• Proficiency with version control, CI/CD, and collaborative workflows.
• Eagerness to explore new technologies with a pragmatic approach.
• Must be a US Citizen and eligible for a US Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Geospatial (GIS) experience.
• Typescript experience.
• Experience with command and control or intelligence systems development.
• Active Security Clearance.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
