Job Title: Senior Front End Developer

Maximus is seeking an experienced Senior Front End Developer to join our team! The Senior Front End Developer provides subject matter expertise for the described work. Responsibilities include supporting process improvement, conducting specialized studies, and defining requirements. Typical duties involve analysis, planning, requirements documentation, building functional models, developing procedures, and designing functional architectures.

The role requires expertise in front-end design and development, including creating technical design drawings, mockups, wireframes, and documentation for review by the PMO and stakeholders. It also involves planning and implementing modifications to Graphic User Interfaces (GUIs), optimizing UI elements and system navigation, and enhancing user experience for feature development.

This position is contingent upon contract award. While the role can be performed remotely, occasional paid travel to client sites in San Antonio, Texas, or Baltimore, Maryland may be required.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; Master’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
2. 10+ years of software development experience in object-oriented and scripted languages, with familiarity in DevSecOps, microservices, and containers.
3. At least 5 years of recent experience in front-end web design and development.
4. Experience in system testing, documentation, and verification of system compliance.
5. Experience with agile, user-centric application design and UI/UX standards.
6. Proficiency in generating wireframes, mockups considering multiple user personas.
7. Experience with UX design tools such as Sketch, InVision.
8. 5 years of experience with bug tracking software like Jira.
9. 5 years of experience testing web applications.
10. 5 years of experience leading software development projects.
11. Practical experience in a cloud environment.
12. Experience with Agile software development processes.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience integrating into DoD DevSecOps environments.
