Job summary

Citi in Pune, India is seeking an experienced UI Engineer to build high-quality front-end solutions using Angular and React within an agile team. The role involves hands-on development, collaboration with UX, and delivering enterprise-scale applications following best practices.

You will work with modern front-end tooling and contribute to the full software lifecycle in a hybrid work environment that supports collaboration across teams and domains.

Qualifications

• 8+ years as a Software Engineer/Developer using Angular or React.
• Experience with modern front-end build tools (npm, yarn, gulp).
• Experience with front-end test frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, Selenium).
• Experience with software engineering best practices (unit testing, automation, design patterns, peer reviews).
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or CS or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Significantly contribute to development of world-class enterprise front-end applications.
• Develop front-end solutions within an Agile team and collaborate with UX and QA.
• Apply knowledge to all aspects of the software development lifecycle and ensure high-quality code.
• Partner with stakeholders and designers to deliver robust UI features.
• Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members as needed.
• Follow and contribute to Citi's standards and practices.
