Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is hiring a Freight Operations Manager to oversee the daily service center operations and ensure efficient, cost-controlled delivery service for customers. The role requires strong leadership, LTL industry familiarity, and compliance with HazMat, OSHA, and DOT regulations.

The position emphasizes staff supervision, process optimization, and collaboration to drive safety, service quality, and profitability across the facility.

Qualifications

• 4 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory or management experience.
• Experience in the less-than-truckload (LTL) industry.
• Experience with hazardous materials regulations, OSHA and DOT rules and regulations.
• LTL freight management and/or service center/management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for the intended audience.

Responsibilities

• Handle the efficiency and effectiveness of the delivery service provided to our customers.
• Guide the complete daily operations of the service center.
• Oversee revenue, profit and cost controls.
• Ensure proper staffing, utilization and management of personnel.
• Mentor and manage all personnel working at the facility.
