Job summary

XPO is hiring a Freight Operations Supervisor to lead all aspects of freight activities, supervise hourly staff, and ensure timely, damage-free customer freight handling. Qualifications

• 2 years of related work experience in warehouse, distribution, supply chain or similar environment.
• Knowledge of LTL industry, hazmat regulations, and DOT rules and regulations.
• Availability to work days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all aspects of freight operations.
• Develop and implement strategic work procedures to meet evolving department demands.
• Evaluate, manage, assign and supervise workloads and tasks.
• Supervise hourly staff across operations and act as primary contact for workplace concerns.
• Ensure production goals by managing tonnage, payroll and admin functions.
• Plan hourly employee schedules to meet daily operations goals and reduce costs.
• Enforce all company policies, FMCSR, OSHA, CCMTA, NSC and DOT rules and regulations.
• Train employees on safety rules and processes and uphold XPO values.
