Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in the United States seeks a Senior Freight Forwarder, Import/Export to manage high-volume shipments from origin to delivery. You will coordinate with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, and brokers to ensure compliant, on-time execution.

The role requires strong knowledge of import/export processes, customs clearance, and related documentation, with an ability to prioritize and improve cost efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing high-volume import/export shipments in the US.
• Experience working with international freight forwarders, domestic carriers and customs brokers.
• Knowledge of Incoterms and US customs processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate high-volume import/export shipments from origin through final delivery.
• Coordinate shipments with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders and brokers.
• Prepare and review shipping documentation (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, COO, AES Filing, Export Licenses).
• Monitor regulatory compliance and identify cost-saving and process-improvement opportunities.
