Job summary

FFE ND Transportation Services, Inc. in the United States is seeking a seasoned supervisor to coordinate service center activities, plan routes, and monitor performance metrics. You will supervise Area Managers and CSRs, manage inbound/outbound freight, and ensure smooth operations.

The role requires 5+ years of management experience, 3+ years in LTL transportation/dock operations, and strong communication skills. A team-based, results-driven environment offers growth and stability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of LTL Transportation/Dock Experience.
• 5+ years of Management/Supervisor Experience.
• AS400 experience is preferred, but not required.
• Strong Customer Service Skills.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills.
• Ability to solve problems.
• Must interact well with others.
• Must be able to work independently, or in a team setting.
• Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate service center activities by supervising Area Managers and CSR's.
• Plan routes and consolidate pickup/delivery appointments.
• Monitor load factor, driver productivity, and safety reports.
• Communicate with customers and CSR's regarding deliveries, pickups, and appointments.
• Update Area Managers on inbound freight and provide coverage for team members.
• Liaise between Operations, Dock, and Linehaul departments.
• Process freight, appointment, and equipment reports daily.
• Manage tractor and trailer equipment onsite.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
