CJC Transport is seeking a Senior Freight Dispatcher to manage freight from pickup to delivery, maximizing profitability and delivering outstanding customer service. The role handles complex shipments, builds carrier relationships, and resolves issues with minimal supervision, protecting customer relations and company margins.

You will oversee FTL/LTL shipments, negotiate capacity, and use leading platforms to optimize efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years freight brokerage or dispatch experience.
• Experience managing both FTL and LTL freight.
• Advanced knowledge of McLeod Software.
• Strong proficiency with DAT and Truckstop.
• Proven negotiation and carrier relationship skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The senior Dispatcher is responsible for managing freight from pickup delivery while maximizing profitability and delivering outstanding customer service. This role handles complex shipments, develops strong carrier relationships, resolves service issues independently. Working with minimal supervision, the Senior Dispatcher makes sound decisions that protect customer relationships, carrier partnerships, and company margins.
