Faire is a technology wholesale platform that helps independent retailers grow local communities. The Fraud Strategy Lead will own end-to-end strategic fraud initiatives, partnering with data science, engineering, product, legal and CX to advance capabilities while protecting customers.

In this senior role, you’ll mentor teammates, translate company goals into priorities, and shape fraud policy and tooling across the organization, with hybrid work in New York or San Francisco.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of fraud/risk experience.
• Deep fraud and risk acumen.
• Strong data analysis using SQL.
• Experience leading strategic initiatives and cross-functional work.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end management of strategic fraud initiatives.
• Translate company goals into team priorities and actionable plans.
• Serve as SME for complex fraud investigations and escalations.
• Partner with Data Science, Engineering, and Product to shape fraud tools and models.
• Design clear documentation on strategic projects and initiatives; manage multiple workstreams.
• Track north star fraud metrics and address deviations from goals.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.
