Job summary

Truist is seeking an experienced Operations Risk Management Programs Risk Officer II-Fraud to design and lead fraud risk management initiatives. You will oversee fraud risk activities, develop assessments, and ensure regulatory alignment across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 10+ years banking/related management experience.
• At least 5 years of management experience with direct supervisory responsibility.
• Strong operational and fraud risk management knowledge and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence at multiple management levels.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience designing and implementing risk programs.

Responsibilities

• Design, establish and execute fraud risk management program and oversight framework.
• Provide ongoing oversight of the company's fraud risk management activities.
• Develop and maintain fraud risk assessments, including periodic updates to identify gaps.
• Ensure Key Risk Indicators are developed and monitored; report gaps to executives.
• Serve as an operational fraud risk expert for risk managers on complex assignments.
• Collaborate with Fraud Strategy, Fraud Operations, and first line of defense teams.
• Report to executive management on the effectiveness of fraud capabilities.
• Track and monitor fraud issue remediations using GRC tools and report status.
• Ensure program components meet regulatory expectations and align with best practices.
• Stay abreast of emerging risk management issues and incorporate learning.
• Mentor and coach teammates; develop relationships with stakeholders.
• Foster enterprise risk culture aligned with Truist's values.
