Job summary

PayCargo, LLC is seeking a Senior Fraud Manager to lead fraud prevention, detection, investigation, and payment risk across our platform. You will shape strategies to identify suspicious activity, minimize losses, strengthen controls, and protect payers, vendors, and the company across jurisdictions.

You will collaborate with Compliance, Finance, Operations, and Product teams to enhance monitoring, governance, and incident response, while mentoring a junior team to maintain execution excellence

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting, criminal justice, or related field.
• 7–10 years of fraud, financial crime, risk or regulatory compliance experience.
• Experience leading junior fraud or risk analysts.
• Experience managing payment fraud in fintech/payments environment.
• CFE, CAMS, CAFP or equivalent credential preferred.
• Strong knowledge of KYC/KYB, due diligence, sanctions screening.
• Proficient with fraud monitoring systems, case management, analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead fraud strategy and risk management aligned with business goals and best practices.
• Oversee monitoring, alerts, reviews, and complex investigations.
• Develop detection rules, indicators, thresholds, and automation.
• Coordinate with partners to contain losses and support recovery.
• Build training, playbooks, and onboarding for fraud/risk teams.
• Provide leadership and coaching to ensure high-quality investigations.
