Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Special Projects Consultant – Fraud & Operations to act as a senior partner for leadership on high-priority initiatives and executive communications. The role requires translating complex information into clear narratives and shaping reporting for QBRs, MBRs, and leadership reviews.

It involves cross-functional coordination, risk and change management, and delivering executive-ready materials while guiding initiative execution with minimal direction.

Qualifications

• Master's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Ten or more years of experience in project management activities.
• Significant experience in project/program management, business management, operations, financial services, fraud, risk, strategy, or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional projects and special initiatives supporting Fraud and Operations priorities.
• Structure ambiguous business problems, establish workplans, identify dependencies, and drive initiatives from concept through execution.
• Coordinate across Fraud Strategy, Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and other business partners as appropriate.
• Identify risks, barriers, dependencies, and decisions requiring leadership attention and drive them toward resolution.
• Develop recommendations and decision materials for senior leadership.
• Support CAO-related requests, deliverables, planning activities, and organizational priorities, consistent with the CAO coordination responsibilities reflected in the current Fraud organization.
• Translate complex business information into concise executive narratives highlighting performance, risks, decisions, trends, and actions.
