The Senior Special Projects Consultant – Fraud & Operations serves as a senior strategic and execution partner supporting Fraud and Operations leadership across high-priority initiatives, executive communications, business management activities, and risk-related projects. This role leads complex, often ambiguous assignments requiring the ability to quickly understand business issues, organize cross-functional work, synthesize large amounts of information, and translate operational, financial, risk, and strategic information into clear executive-level messaging and actionable plans. The position will provide significant support for Chief Administrative Office (CAO)-related activities, including preparation of executive presentations, QBR and MBR materials, leadership updates, business reviews, and daily, weekly, and monthly reporting. The role may also lead or support risk, regulatory, change-management, process-improvement, and other special initiatives across Fraud and Operations.
This role should be differentiated by: High ambiguity: Expected to take loosely defined executive asks and independently create structure and direction. Enterprise/cross-functional scope: Regularly works across multiple organizations and senior stakeholders. Executive exposure: Frequently develops materials for senior executives and business reviews. Independent judgment: Determines the appropriate approach with limited direction. Ownership: Accountable for driving significant initiatives, rather than primarily coordinating assigned tasks. Strategic synthesis: Expected to understand what senior leaders need to know, not simply aggregate information supplied by others. Risk complexity: Capable of managing assignments involving multiple risk, control, regulatory, technology, or operational considerations simultaneously.
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank Location three (3) or more days per week.
