Qualifications

• Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus/endpoint protection, MFA, SIEM, content filtering.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and computer forensics tools and methods.
• U.S. citizenship is required for this defense company.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce information security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with CMMC and NIST requirements.
• Own enterprise security architecture for networks, systems, applications, and data.
• Build and execute a security roadmap across IT infrastructure, applications, and data at all sites.
• Conduct recurring security assessments and internal audits; drive vulnerability remediation to closure.
• Lead incident response planning, support breach investigations, and manage post-incident resolution.
• Mentor IT staff on security tools, technologies, and best practices.
• Partner with department leaders to integrate security controls into business processes.
• Manage the information security budget, including forecasting, resource allocation, and cost optimization.

This permanent Cybersecurity Manager position supports a multi-site defense manufacturing environment in Trenton, NJ onsite. The role focuses on establishing and enforcing security governance aligned with CMMC and NIST, leading security architecture and assessments, and managing incident response and security operations across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce information security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with CMMC and NIST requirements.
• Own enterprise security architecture for networks, systems, applications, and data, balancing risk reduction with business objectives.
• Build and execute a security roadmap covering IT infrastructure, applications, and data across all sites.
• Conduct recurring security assessments and internal audits, and drive vulnerability remediation to closure.
• Lead incident response planning, support breach investigation, and manage post-incident resolution.
• Mentor IT staff on security tools, technologies, and best practices.
• Partner with department leaders to integrate security controls into business processes.
