Job summary

Infineon Technologies is seeking a Senior Engineer Verification in its Research & Development team to architect FPGA-based solutions for prototyping platforms and to integrate FPGA logic with embedded software and host interfaces. You will bring up boards, perform system-level debugging, and document architecture for cross-team use.

Ideal candidates have strong FPGA development experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog or VHDL, hands-on tooling (Xilinx Vivado, Synplify), and scripting skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electronic engineering, computer engineering, or related field.
• Strong FPGA development experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog and/or VHDL.
• Hands-on with FPGA tools (Xilinx Vivado, Synplify).
• Experience with verification and debug: simulation, test benches, assertions, on-chip debug tools.
• Scripting/automation with Python or Tcl to improve build flows.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement FPGA solutions for prototyping platform and link partner platform.
• Integrate FPGA logic with embedded software, drivers, and host interfaces (Ethernet, USB, UART, SPI, I2C, etc.).
• Bring up FPGA platforms: board-level testing, power-on sequencing, clocking/reset strategy, and peripheral enablement
• Perform system-level debug
• Document platform architecture, integration guides, and best practices to enable internal users and downstream teams.
