Insight Global is seeking a Senior Staff Hardware Engineer to design, develop, and test next generation satellite modem hardware across the full lifecycle. The role emphasizes FPGA-based PCB designs, high speed interfaces, and hands-on board bring-up in an onsite lab environment.

You will collaborate with FPGA, RF, firmware, and systems teams to deliver reliable SATCOM solutions. The position is permanent and onsite in Chandler, AZ, with pay starting at $160K+.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hardware design experience.
• Working knowledge of SATCOM waveforms and satellite communications.
• Knowledge of RF/L-band design and layout.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and document hardware designs for satellite modems and related products.
• FPGA-based satellite modems integrated on PCBs; schematic design and layout.
• Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) analysis.
• Board bring-up and debugging in an onsite lab environment.
• Collaborate with FPGA, RF, firmware, and systems teams to deliver SATCOM solutions.
