Job summary

Altera seeks a Senior Manufacturing and Supplier Quality Engineer to lead end-to-end supplier quality management and manufacturing quality for FPGA products. You will partner with engineering, operations and external OSATs to ensure quality requirements are met, driving issue resolution and KPI monitoring.

This role supports San Jose production and lab quality teams, focusing on ISO 9001, AS9100D and ADG quality standards in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in semiconductor manufacturing and supplier quality engineering.
• 8+ years across the semiconductor product lifecycle (wafer fabrication, packaging, assembly, ATE).
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification with AS9100D knowledge and ADG quality exposure.

Responsibilities

• Drive manufacturing ramp and ensure product quality across multiple market segments.
• Lead supplier quality management with OSAT partners and ensure ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100D compliance.
• Define, monitor, and improve supplier quality KPIs and performance.
• Lead root-cause analysis and CAPA workflows for supplier quality incidents.
