Job summary

Altera is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to coordinate the engineering execution behind next-generation FPGA device rollouts. This role spans silicon, IP, software, firmware, validation, and manufacturing readiness across North America and Asia.

You will implement best-in-class program management practices, drive schedule transparency, and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of FPGA products in a highly cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Technical Program Management roles.
• Experience coordinating hardware and software development programs.
• Strong HW/FW/SW interactions understanding for cross-functional engagement.
• Experience across pre- and post-silicon development phases.
• Leadership across the full product lifecycle with multiple orgs.
• Ability to drive accountability in geographically distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large, complex technical programs for FPGA device development.
• Coordinate execution across silicon, IP, software, firmware, validation, and manufacturing readiness.
• Develop and maintain detailed program plans, schedules, milestones, and dependencies.
• Drive alignment across global teams in North America and Asia.
• Identify risks and resource constraints; develop mitigation plans.
• Partner with engineering, product, quality, and operations for on-time delivery.
• Improve project management processes, tools, and reporting.
• Provide status updates and data-driven decisions to executives.
• Support silicon bring-up, validation, sampling, and production readiness milestones.
