Job summary

CircuitHire is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to own the end-to-end design and development of advanced electronics hardware for defense technology, focusing on high-density FPGA-based systems with interfaces like 10GbE and PCIe.

You will design, verify and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams through the product development lifecycle, ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering cutting-edge communications technology.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electronics hardware design.
• Proven experience with high-speed digital design including Ethernet, USB and PCIe.
• Experience designing complex, high-density electronics and FPGA-based hardware.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Design, development and verification of electronics hardware.
• Component selection and technical evaluation.
• Schematic capture, circuit simulation and analysis.
• PCB design, layout and design reviews.
• Power supply design.
• Design verification, validation and testing.
• Support for product compliance and ensuring designs meet regulatory/industry standards.
• Work with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
