Qualifications

• 8+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 8+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience with general troubleshooting/debugging of hardware.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
• Experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and current systems.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of programming with at least one hardware description language (VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog) experience.

Responsibilities

• Own comprehensive FPGA development across architecture, design, estimates, implementation, verification and validation of new features.
• Define and lead technical work of teammates to meet milestones.
• Contribute to companion firmware interfacing with programmable logic design and system-level operations.
• Firmware deployment, monitoring, debugging and fleet health improvement.
• Mentor and develop junior team members and guide technical direction.
