Job summary

GeoLogics is seeking a Sr Advanced FPGA/Firmware Engineer for the Torpedo Systems Group, supporting on-site activities in Middletown, RI or Canonsburg, PA. You will develop, deliver, and maintain software and firmware products, serve as the government customer onsite, and assist in corrective actions across multiple programs.

The role emphasizes FPGA design/verification, C programming, RTOS, Linux, and collaboration across engineering teams to meet complex performance goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in STEM required or equivalent
• Ability to obtain security clearance; Secret preferred
• Contractor role; US Citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Contribute to FPGA design, verification and documentation
• Participate in architecture, system simulation and detailed design
• Define module interfaces and device design/simulation
• Evaluate design flow including synthesis, timing, power
• Verify test results and analyze performance
• Develop requirements, concepts, designs and results for management and customers
• Support generation of engineering artifacts using standards and tools
• Work in a Linux environment; program in C
• Work with real-time operating systems
