Job summary

GeoLogics is seeking a Hardware Software Systems Engineer in Middletown, RI with an active Secret clearance for a 12+ month contract to hire. The role focuses on capturing and tracing requirements, leading verification efforts, and coordinating with design and test teams to ensure program success.

Responsibilities include managing requirements, leading development tasks, and interfacing with customer scientists and program management while traveling up to 10% domestically.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 10+ years of experience or an advanced degree with 7+ years, or 14 years if no degree.
• Active DoD secret clearance.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Capture program requirements baseline in a requirements database.
• Maintain the requirements database and decompose Levels 1–4 with engineering leads.
• Develop and execute the requirements verification strategy.
• Coordinate with design and test leads to ensure robust validation/verification plans.
• Ensure the system meets performance and non-performance requirements.
• Champion process improvement initiatives.
• Lead various system development and troubleshooting tasks.
• Interface with external customer scientists, engineers and program management.
• Work with program leadership to ensure program success.
• Communicate program status, issues and successes in briefings and reports.
